1. The information submitted below will be the information in the conference program. The spell check feature in your word processing program can save you and the MIWLA time by assisting in creating accurate text.

Presentation Information

We recommend writing your title and description in Microsoft Word or another word processing program where you can check your spelling and character limit, then copy/paste your information into the form fields below.

Presentation Title
Your presentation title is limited to 100 characters

Presentation Description
The description is limited to 550 characters with spaces. Describe the content, procedures, and participant outcomes. In order to standardize descriptions, avoid "I" and refer to the participants in the third person. Description may be edited for publication.

Length of Presentation
All sessions will be 50 minutes. All workshops will be 3 hours. Workshop presenters receive an honorarium. All presenters receive a photocopy reimbursement up to forty dollars with submitted receipts and reimbursement request form.

Audio Visual Needs

Because we recognize the value of a media-rich conference, the MIWLA will provide audio visual equipment based on presenter's needs. A screen will be available in every presentation room. Please recognize that the organization incurs a substantial cost to provide this service, so select items that are only absolutely necessary to help us contain costs. The presenter is responsible for configuring and connecting his or her computer to the conference center's wireless network for Internet access and any associated expenses related to said connection.

Audio Visual Equipment Needed
The MIWLA is pleased to provide AV equipment to those presenters who otherwise do not have access to such equipment.

No additional AV is needed beyond the MIWLA-supplied screenComputer Data Projector (external computer and audio speakers not included, Apple computer users please bring an adapter to connect to a standard data projector)DVD and MonitorFlip Chart and EaselOverhead ProjectorWireless Internet provided by conference venue (see note above)

Presenter Agreement

I understand that I (and my co-presenters) must be a member of the MIWLA and register for the conference (or be a registered Exhibitor) in order to present at the Conference. I understand that I must be available to present either Thursday or Friday.

All presenters are expected to abide by the following MIWLA Policy on the Sale and Promotion of Materials and Services: • The MIWLA strictly prohibits the sale of materials or services in sessions and workshops at MIWLA events.
• Session and workshop presenters may provide information on how to access materials and services.
• Financial transactions are not permitted during sessions or workshops as that time is dedicated to the professional development and continuing education of our members.
