Annual Administrator Breakfast PDF Print E-mail

This fall MIWLA will be hosting its third annual Administrator Breakfast! Invite your administrator to attend this event on Oct. 22 from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at the Causeway Bay Hotel in Lansing! You and your administrator will enjoy a complimentary breakfast followed by an address from Jackie Moase-Burke, world languages consultant for Oakland Schools, and Mary Anne Moriconi, specialist in differentiated instruction from Avondale School District. Jackie and Mary Anne will speak to the administrators on two critical topics. First, Jackie will address the upcoming world language high school graduation requirement. Second, Mary Anne will provide specific strategies in differentiated instruction for world language teachers. As we prepare to welcome ALL students into our world language classrooms, we must be equipped with ways to differentiate our instruction so that we will indeed meet the needs of all students. Following the breakfast, administrators are welcome to stay at the conference for a guided tour of the exhibit area and the Awards Luncheon.

Invite your administrator to attend this free event! RSVP to Laura Nork Bradshaw at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than September 24, 2010. Space is limited and will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
