The MIWLA and ISE are pleased to announce a new award available to members, the ISE Language Matters Award. The Award consists of a $250 grant and a framed award certificate. Eligibility: The applicant selected for this award shall be a high school teacher of a world language who has achieved outstanding success in getting his / her students to speak the target language through exemplary motivation and creative methods; the nominee shall be a current member of MIWLA; in addition, the winner shall be a teacher who has provided authentic immersion experiences outside the classroom for students to apply their speaking skills. No prior association or experience with ISE is required of the nominee.
